The Berkshire Immigrant Center values the contributions of our volunteers. We try hard to match the talents and interests of our volunteers and students and flexibly respond to their schedules.
Volunteers:
- provide office support, doing traditional clerical work.
- with language skills help translate for immigrants.
- help clients prepare for naturalization exams, transport them to appointments or accompany them to important community resources.
- are involved in our fund raising efforts.
- are needed to help with expanding our social media presence, writing grants, and doing data entry work.
All volunteers share a commitment to improving the lives of immigrants who live in Berkshire County. We expect a level of professionalism that requires responsible attendance and confidentiality.
